Add Projects (Batch Import)
To add multiple projects to your account in Client Feedback Tool (CFT) at one-time, you can do so via the import process. Please follow the steps below:

Upload this file third to define project details. This file can also be re-uploaded if updates or additions are needed.
Order of Upload

Users – Upload first to ensure senders are in CFT.

Contacts – Upload second to add survey recipients.

Projects – Upload third to define project details.

Batch File – Upload last to launch the survey. Upload only once to avoid duplicates.
- From the modern dashboard, use the left-hand navigation panel to select Settings, then click Projects to open the Projects page. This will take you to the legacy side of the tool.

- Under the Projects management window, select Batch Import.

- Next, download the Project Import Template file.
- Click Template, followed by the Get Template Download button. This action will initiate the automatic download of the Project Import Template file to your device.

- When the Project Import Template file opens, you will want to enter data in the following required fields:
- Project Number (Column A)
- Project Name (Column B)
- Project Groups (Column C)
- Duplicates (Column M):
- Choose how CFT should handle duplicate projects when importing:
- Ignore Duplicates – Skips matching projects and keeps existing information.
- Merge Duplicates – Combines new project details with what’s already in CFT.
- Replace Duplicates – Replaces existing project information with data from your file.
- Choose how CFT should handle duplicate projects when importing:
- (Optional) The Project Import file also allows you to assign a different datasets right from the import file.
- Project Types
- Project Manager Emails
- Company Number
- Company Name
- Company Type
- After entering the project data, save the template to your device. Navigate back to the User Management window in CFT, select Batch Setup, and proceed to select Upload.

- In the Upload Batch Template pop-up window, click the Select File button. This action will allow you to choose the Project Import file that you saved.

- Once the file has been uploaded successfully, click Read.

- This screen allows you to review the data being uploaded. Carefully review all data fields to ensure accuracy.
- Check the Summary of Project Import box in the lower right-hand corner to confirm that the total number displayed matches the total number of contacts you are trying to create or upload.

- When review is complete, select Import. This will prompt another screen to appear. Click Import


- (Optional) After your template has been successfully imported, you can review the Status Box located in the lower left-hand corner.
- You may also select “View Detailed Log” to generate an Excel file that lists all processed records, including both successful and unsuccessful entries.
